AFAIK, unless they changed the Calif law, you can't tint or obstruct the windshield, and the driver's side window tint cannot block the view of the side mirror.

It's simple. You can't block your view.

That being said, people with dark tint side windows get in more accidents. People cannot tell if you are paying attention to the road. You have to "assume" the driver is aware of your motorcycle or car's location. I like being able to tell when you are texting or putting on makeup so I can avoid you.
