So did he tell you himself that he has access to more tables now than he used to, or did you just hear about it? If so, any idea of how long he has had the access?? I thought I heard about that a while back ago as well, but wasn't really confirmed.

IPF stated a while back that the Bosch ECM doesn't exactly raise timing until knock is detected, like we all thought before, but instead just has a lot more timing tables than the newer Delphi units, so that could make sense if true.

Yeah he told me last week when I explained the issues I was having. But don't know how long he has had this ability and how critical it is really to the tune. I haven't been able to test the new tune as it's been raining last 2 days here. And with the Torque app I have been able to confirm that I do get knock on the road.

When did Vince finalize all of this? All I've heard was rumors back in summer that he might be able to dig deeper in the Bosch ECU.

Like any illegal activity, it's only voided if discovered by the dealer.

10camaroRS has stated that it is supposed to happen, and he said he'd have the tuning module by now. Not sure whats up.

Ventmaster should also have Trifecta vs IPF tune graphs coming soon as well.

Send a message via Skype™ to 10RsCamaro
I am still waiting on the module. Jesse at IPF is pretty slow on sending messages. I messaged him a few days ago and still waiting for a response. :(
