that's just nuts. What's wrong with drivers? why can't they let people in when they have their blinkers on? I miss Hawaii drivers!

Urgh... I always cringe when I see a Camaro in those conditions. Sorry man, hope it gets fixed soon

If it was me, after wanting to kill something, I would be thankful that I had a reason to buy the heritage grill without pissing off my fiance. Best of luck at getting it fixed man, it looks painful.

That was pretty much was the deal here too.

it wasn't just a tire tread lying flat on the ground, it was the entire tire, sidewall and all and it was just sitting there. It got hit by several other cars in front of me to include the car directly in front of me.

No one to blame here. Shit happens. AZ heat is like FL heat. Truck tires pop all the time and there are tire bits and pieces all over I95.

Sorry to hear about your mishap.
I had similar damage but not as bad about a month ago. I drove out to a friends house who lives in a pretty wooded area. It was night time and a armadillo ran out if front of me. i was doing about 50mph and swerved trying to miss it but instead ended up running it over with the passenger side tires. On the bottom of the front bumper right in front of the passenger tire was a huge dent where the bumper cover was pushed in, looked very similar to yours. I was pissed, car was only about two months old. I got on the ground and was able to get my hand behind there and with allot of force managed to pop the dent back out. I couldn't believe it, not even a scratch or scuff in the paint. I guess having plastic on cars does have it's good points.

Thumbs up

Earlier this week I was driving my RS on the highway. I was getting close to a rig carrying logs. It was a B-train. The back trailer was swaying a bit too much for my liking so I slowed down and kept my distance. Fortunately, the rig did not loose the load. Many years ago I was behind a B-train and witnessed the rear trailer flipping. My buddy was with me and we had a bet on when and where the load would dump. There again we stayed well back.

Sorry for your loss. At least nobody was injured except the tire, and your Camaro. Sucks that you were hemmed in and couldn't avoid it.

Camarofan69 has a point. Now might be a good time to get one of those T2 or T3 bumpers for your car if you fancy one of them!

Just glad you didn't get hurt, the car can be repaired or replaced, we can't replace you buddy. Glad to hear you are okay, it does suck but it could have been much worse.

I feel your pain... I also daily drive my SS, and also had a semi blow out a tire in front of me. It rained down chunks of rubber... the final damage was 8 inch long dent/scrape on my passenger side door. Luckily I know a great body shop in the area.
