Exclamation All the hype about the ls9

everyone is so hyper about the ls9 in a camaro. if u goto youtube and look up ls9 camaro it is only puttin out like 645hp thats not worth it for the extra 20,000 engine in it. i know someone who could get me above 700hp with 20,000. He has built engines gettin 1175hp on pump gas. no lie. u guys go buy u an ls9 and im tellin you your gunna regret it. unless you just have the money to throw around i wouldnt bother. although it sounds good and is a cool thing to talk about.

heres the link. not my vid but interesting.

You can't get a factory warrenty from your buddy, can you? No point having all that power if it's gonna void the warrenty and break stuff.

After your buddies engine expires the LS9 will keep on going like the energizer bunny.

Anyone can make big power for a short period of time. Lets see him go through the durability test that GM does.

The LS9 is a great engine considering the total package.

And not to mention the LS9 is the base engine, can get a lot more power from it whereas your 'buddies' engine is maxed out already

You are comparing apples and oranges here. A factory engine that meets emissions and is warrantied for 5 years 100,000 miles that makes LS9 power is a true engineering marvel. On pump gas no less.

Yep you can get a bunch more power for a lot less than 20,000 but I doubt it's steetable like the LS9, which is a ***** cat I'm told (confirm Junkie?) when tooling about town.

LS9 will fire up in the heat, in cold in the rain and in the snow.

So it's ok if you want more, but there is really no technical basis for knocking the LS9.
