Just wondering what it means when the tracking says "shipped by truck". Does that mean it will be shipped by truck to the dealer from the plant or does it mean it is being shipped to the railyard? I didn't get a code yet.

Just taking a guess but I think your close enough for it to be on a truck heading to the dealer

I called CSX rail today and it was an automated process to find out where the railcar was located at that time. Very easy and pretty cool.
Here is the number: 1-877-744-7279 then pick option 5 and then option 3. then you give them your railcar number.
My car had just left Woodstock Ontario, Canada.

My car is in and at Classic Chevy!!!! SS-Eric sent me pic of her coming off the truck!!!!!! Oh its gonna be a long week till Friday when I can pick it up!!!!!

That was a fast train/truck ride, Moriartii. Congrats and enjoy! Mine is currently at Walkerville Jct in Ontario (right outside the Ford plant...). Hopefully will be crossing the border soon and make its trip as quickly as yours. KateVrroom...wonder if ours are on the same train?

I called the number that was provided by Kate, but it was asking for car initial, PIN, & user ID? What did you all use?

When I called, I called the number for CNR and the info I provided was the initials (in my case ETTX) and car number (850900 in my case). Not sure what the pin and user ID stuff is.

Kendell347 after you press option 3, the "voice" asks if you want "location" or something else. You want "location", so say that. Then it just asks for the letters and then the number of you rail-car. That should do it.

Anyway, mine is at the interchange in Detroit, MI as of 0100 last night. Probably waiting for a connection east.

Thank you Moriartii & Katevrroom, it worked. I think I may have entered too many zeros since my number is 700058. My car is in Buffalo, NY right now according to the recording....patiently waiting.

Grrrr I have only been able to track it as far as Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad and it was reported there 3 days ago. I hate to say it but it's a little frustrating.

My car is just outside my home town in a place called "twin oaks, PA". So close I could touch her! I expect it will be transferred to a truck from here and taken to my dealer. Should hear from him the beginning of next week, I guess.
