This will not work, because once the HUD unit is in place, there is NO WAY to repair the Air Duct. I am at Ofer's right now working with him to get this installed in his car, then mine.

Do you have a template to cut from or can you see the spot to cut from underneath the dash pad once its out. I was going to start today but I am holding off till I know where to cut dash.

Not much of a shortcut, but if you have a manual transmission, do not have to pull the shifter knob off to remove the center console. (Save me from punching myself in the face)

The leather boot is flexible enough to move the rear mounting tabs on the boot under the center console.

Here is the HUD being bolted to the dash, 5 screws

The mounting location is there

The dash gets Dremeled for switch, just copy the headlight opening

Note!!! Be sure to plug Ofer's harness into the HUD prior to installing the a/c ducting and/of dash; saves a few minutes

Well the HUD is now installed and WORKING in Ofer's 2SS. Everything is put back together and re-set and re-indexed. Pictures were taken of the entire process and will be posted later by Ofer. For all who do this mod, it is a TWO (2) Person job, do not try it alone. Also the hardest part can be removing the steering wheel. We had to use a large steering wheel puller to get the steering wheel to come free. Tomorrow this will be done on my car.

I will tell you after we eat something and after I get this installed in my car. I woke up at 4 AM Calif. time, drove over 200 miles, and helped Ofer install the HUD in his car. Plus I have not stopped to eat. NOW it is time to eat.
