the MM oil cap breather only vents pressure, if you are pulling too much vacuum, you need to be sure the check valve orientation is correct. your motor should be able to take in as much air as it needs, all metered and vent freely so as not to damage seals. if you are hearing a whistling that goes away when you remove your oil cap, you will eventually damage a seal.
That is why I draw air from the drivers side valve cover, that is the largest stock air orifice in the motor to the intake through a vented MM can. the can also has a 1 way vent that once pressure in the intake manifold closes the check valve, any excess crankcase pressure will vent through 3 places, the MM oil cap vent, MM Can and back hrough the IPF can and into the intake before , and yes I did open up the orifice in the ps valve cover fitting to let more air flow freely. No boost leak occurs when the intake manifold valve closes on the MM Can.

PS- hey Black Knight--- its SYCRAFT.... no K.. lol

NO, I have a Mighty Mouse catch can with the filter on top going to the manifold, I realize now, that when I went to the MM catch can, I was able to go back to the original oil filler cap. before that I took a 5/64 drill and near the top where the ribs are, drilled in about 1/2 way.

Hey skycraft lol sry bout that I am drawing air from the DS valve cover directly to the Ipf intake before the superchager inlet. On my passenger side , got my passenger side valve cover going to my MM catch can and the 1 way pcv valve on can goes to my intake mainfold.

That should work, just be aware, that under pressure, you will be back feeding (venting) through the mm can (if vented) and back to the intake. Without some sort of secondary can, you can push oil mist back into the intake tube. I would see if you can get more metered air in and less restrictions out under pressure. That is what kills boosted engines, lack of breathing.

So your saying it would be a good idea to put a second can somewhere between my ds valve cover and intake tube ?
