Camaro 3D Modeling

Alright so I just downloaded a program know as Autodesk Maya. My objective with this program is to create a 3D modeling of the 2010+ Camaro Coupe. Basically I'm trying to test out various color schemes and themes on the Camaro, to see what I wish to do visually for my darling.

Are any of you guys familiar with similar software or 3D models/renderings? I was wondering if I could perhaps import a pre-made model of the Camaro into this program and just use it as a slate to start from, and then add each scheme/theme and save it as a different document.

If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a free trial of Microstation V-8 I could download? The program I use doesn't matter, I just want something that will allow me to render a 3D of the Camaro and edit the cosmetics of it.

Awesome thank you, i'm downloading the free trial now. How difficult is it to create a model and "play" with it?

Not to hard, you need all the exact measurement of the model vehicle, in my case i measured every line on a Camaro in our driveway we were watching for a friend.
It is at times very painstakingly SLOW!

Wow, once you get a good visual model of it, you could try making it any color combination that your mind could think of. The possibilities are endless on something like this.. provided you have the know-how, and the patience to work the program. Amazing. Be careful what you do... you might become "That-Guy."

- "Hey, I want to buy a white Camaro with tan stripes, could you design that for me so i can see it?"

- Hey, I want to put blue stripes on my green Camaro, could you render that for me so I can see it.."

-etc etc.. about a hundred more times...

Do it for me please I do have to overcome some technological issues first, I own a mac computer and the executable file is not running for my computer to truly install this program. So I may have to partition this hardrive and run windows to then get this program working.

If that just seems too hard, I may go buy a laptop at best buy and do a no interest no pay thing for a few months or something.
