Coilovers

I know a bunch of the C5 Race Team has them, I want them.

What do you have?

Where did you get them?

Cost (if you don't mind sharing)?

What made you choose them over the others you looked at?

Looking at making the purchase in the next 2 weeks. My lowering springs are not playing nice with the chassis brace and I have some rather large speed bumps to attempt to cross on nights when I have to go to school.

Vendors please feel free to jump in with what you have and what your pricing is on them.

Thanks everyone!

Here are what I suggest:

Best Bang for your buck: RideTech

Best overall: Detroit speed

I cannot post pricing in threads, but we do have some deals available. Feel free to shoot me a PM/email or give me a call. Let em know if I can answer any questions.

Best regards,

Tyler

Justice Pete is apparently working on some stuff...will see him at SEMA and get more information.

I have Pedders Super Car Coilovers, they work great and I picked them because why not buy them from the guy who knows the most about these platforms...anyway, if I had to buy coilovers today, I would buy the Ride Tech TQ triples, http://www.ridetech.com/store/2010-u...m-level-3.html they are similar to the Supercars based on what I know of them...Just an FYI, my Camaro was at Ride Tech World Wide Headquarters last summer for about 8 weeks...so there may have been some comparison/testing going on...

The TQ's are the all out race version aren't they? Triple adjustable?

I have been looking at the HQ series. I don't think I'll ever be able to get the full use of the TQ's or justify the cost difference. I like the remote res setup, but I just can't justify the substantial cost difference for 4oz of extra fluid and dampening settings that I don't understand enough to not screw up my ride quality. lol

Yeah, the HQ's are the call if you don't want to figure out the adjustments on the triples...I like the Ride Tech's because I know the owner, Bret, and feel very confident that they will be around to back their million mile warranty....

I just purchased the RideTech HQ. I know they are a big improvement from stock but not a pocket buster too. Quit a bit of adjustment for the novice track days a half dozen times a year. Get the ability to lower the stance to what you want also. I looked for a few weeks and these are the best option I could come up with. Give Tyler a shout over at JDP and he'll hook you up

Where is the adjustment for changing the settings? Any holes need drilling like the BC's?

As stated I just ordered these. Getting them Friday. From what I was told is they are a direct bolt on. I will be posting a install video once I get everything set up. Shit I'm still waiting for my 1LE to get here too. Lots of plans forth coming. Will be putting a Build Thread together to document all the mods.
