Help needed in pricing
Guys,
I am ready to buy a NEW 2012 Chevy camaro BLACK 2 LT coupe with Automatic Transmission and SUNROOF without racing stripes. I checked with a dealer in PA and he says the drive out price is $35,000. Please let me know if this amount is appropriate or a rip-off. Also , please let me know the good price for which i can buy it with these specifications. Now , I am open to buy car in NJ too if I can find a good deal on the car. Your reply is greatly appreciated. Thanks bharat. |

Suggestion...if you are not set on the 2LT I would consider looking for a 2011 SS. you may be able to find one just a tad higher and with the 0% 72 months.
Otherwise, I would consider shopping around a bit.

At first sounds a little high, but re-read it, out the door price of 35k, what is the actual price you are paying for the car, since taxes and licenseing, etc have inflated that price for out the door price.
My out the door price for CRT (added price color), sunroof, stripes, cargo mat, spare tire but with manual trans was around 33k. Invoice, price I actually paid for the car was just tad over 30k.

Joey : thank you for the reply : I am not looking for SS as V8 will eat lot of gas :( I am fishing now for good deals
GVMV : Is that price you paid includes taxes and other fees ? Back fist : Thank you for the reply. I am still looking to find out the best price I can pay for the car , I assume the taxes will be around 6% of the total price of the car . Thank you . |

This price seems high to me too. I just bought a 2012 2LT Vert for $32,500. I did get preffered pricing and also a $1000 private offer and $2000 EMP discount.
