If you have Ground effects what did you do for a front license plate bracket with using a front splitter? THX

Sorry to hear you're moving to Illinois. Born and raised there, moved at age 19. Sell your guns and buy a snow blower. LOL. ZL1 Addons sells a plate adapter to use with their tow hook. Good excuse to get a tow hook if you don't already have one.

Texas requires one but it’s been in a drawer somewhere since 14. Never be asked or stopped for it.

I have a Jacfab bracket (which unfortunately he no longer sells) that bolts to the bumper cover holes under the front lip. I installed it when I moved from PA to MO because PA doesn't require one but MO does. However, my plate has been sitting in my trunk after the first year of driving with it on. Nearly all of the guys in my Camaro club were riding without plates and I didn't want to be the dork with the front plate. I can install it again quickly if needed.

Jacfab stopped selling them? Damn, I love my bent bracket. I wish they would develop beam trippers too that bolt in the same location.

Do you have the tow hook option? If so, get the ZL1 add on license bracket...

I got the last GM ground effects bracket. I too have the bent bracket. With it on the car it's a great license plate bracket. However, a license plate on the front of the car just kills the look IMO. If/when I get pulled over and required to add it on I'll put it back. Until then I'll stick with my "illegal mod".

The front license plate problem really bothers me. Some states want the fronts and some don't. The biggest issue I have is that the back one throw the whole car's look off. I really wish states didn't have assigned colors(although they do change). I really wish we as car enthusiasts, could petition to have the license plate color be the owners choice i.e I would have a black backround with yellow letters. I know we would have to pay extra for "personalized" plates but this always bothered me.

i just googled it.i didn't realize 31 states require front licence plates.
