Really ones own choice. I myself bought the Injen short ram intake since it was cheaper than most and I like it.

Just finished installing a Roto-Fab on mine 5 minutes ago. First performance mod and I am pleasantly surprised at how much more sound and speed I have at acceleration. I was like....whoaaaaaa.....holy crap!

MRTv2 and throttle body will be next......can't wait.

Yes. The CAI is the best enginered cold air intake for our cars.

Can't really deny how well the Roto-fab CAI looks and sounds, especially if you're on a budget it's a great intake for the money, (it doesn't have a fully enclosed air box).

If your looking for a stock look under the hood you might consider a Volant Cold Air Induction with Powercore filter. It was my first mod. Sounds great especially with vmax ported throttle body and MRT 2 axle back.

About 5 days later I added the MRT V2 Axleback exhaust. A muffler shop welded it in place in about a half hour for 100 bucks. All I can say is WOW! This car does indeed sound AWESOME! The growl/roar is now heard coming from in front and behind you. And you don't have to step on it to hear it. If I didn't know better I'd swear it was a V8.

By the way, Apex Chase set me up. Great service! Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Having upgraded my exhaust first I can tell you that a CAI makes a huge difference on sound. I started off with flowmaster AT's and they sounded great but got a bit raspy at wide open throttle. The K&N CAI I bought covered up the rasp with a throaty growl. Worth every penny.

Here is a nice install video of our unit with a nice sound clip at the end:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=Fp8DIiFIsvE

LSR Performance's cold air intake set up for maximum airflow and with a custom tune for maximum performance has seen independently verified dyno proven point to point gains of up to 42 horsepower and 48ft/lbs of torque to the rear wheels.

Let me know if I can help you with one ... you can check us out at http://www.lsrperformance.com/lsr-ca...tock-tune.html

Best Regards,

TJ
