Hello Everyone

My dealer called me tonight with the most evil (yet expected) tease.

"Your car has LEFT Oshawa and is on its way to us (the dealer)!"

Yay? No, wait...

"The car is expected to arrive Thursday or Friday!"

Yay? NO! Why? here's the kicker....

"... you cannot take delivery of your car just yet. GM will not give us the invoice for your car until after May 1st. Without the invoice we cannot sell it. "

ARGH. just. Argh.

He wasn't sure of the reason, but I had told him that I had read reports of some kind of GM "Hold" on the cars for marketing purposes, and about May 6th as some kind of release date, etc etc. I think he thought I was going to be mad at him. He sounded quite releived when I told him I thought it might happen, and knew why.

But still. Argh.

Sorry man..... They're not going to release any cars in Montreal until they build mine too, so this makes perfect sense !!

Seriously, that just blows. There are all these people with money burning a hole in their pockets.... GM, release the Beast's already !!!

Demand it to be locked and placed out of the public view. They just want to use it to sell other orders. Have them print out the workbench and show where the step producing invoice was skipped and the shipping happened. It would not happen. Get your car and post pics and drive it.

hopefully his dealer isnt BS'ing.

i know the jack***s at my local dealers WOULD do that.
they did it to me with a silver 07 monte SS.
