That's what I thought when I bought my Camaro. I bought mine a little over a month ago and with my budget all I could afford was the V6. However a month into driving this beast I don't regret it at all. There's power in this V6, I love it!
I honestly prefer a 6. It's got all the accelleration I want and still gets good mileage. For me having an SS or ZL1 would be like using a bazooka to shoot a deer but that's just me. I really don't need to go 170 MPH, and it goes from 0-60 almost as fast as a Ferrari Testarossa so I'm ok with that. I really don't need more. If I'm financially able to at some point I would get a Lambo for the over the top car. I like having my LT as a permanent every day car

Nyyfan - I live in Southern Nevada. Just bought a house there. Typical American, wife, kid, job, no dog though.
I love the forums. So many sexy cars to drool over and entertaining comments to read.

BTW from Northern Nevada! There are lots of Gen5 Camaros up here but they don't really meet up... I see more of the classic year vehicles meeting up here. Vegas seems to have a great Camaro club.

Congrats on your new camaro! No worries about owning an LS, you can always mod the way you like if you want to change anything. I have 2LT/RS V6 automatic and love it. I can't drive a stick either but have lots of fun driving it in manual mode with the paddle shifters. Added a cold air intake, solo catback exhaust & ported throttle body. Has enough power for daily driving and that is all I need. Someday down the line if you want more you can trade up for a V8 or always supercharge your V6 if you decide you want more power. Enjoy and welcome to the family!

Have you looked at the sticker in your trunk?

Congrats on your LS. I just got one last week. Like you, my wife would take the car any chance she got. After she got pulled over taking our daughter to volleyball practice she isn't as interested in driving...lol. Luckily only a warning.

"its only an LS". . . like many here have posted, its a CAMARO.
one of the most beautiful, and sexy shapes of any cars out there.

Its all brotherhood here, we all love our cars, no matter if its v6, or v8.

Truly works of art, and truly its eye candy.

I only hope, that the 6 gen will bring those same inner feelings to us as we see it thru our eyes. . and make us once again, start scheming as to how justify, in order to get a 6 gen!

I take it all back about "just an LS". For the first time I had to get on it tonight. Was running late for for work and I can't be late. I was extremely surprised at the power it produced. I know it's not an SS, but damn that car moves. So congrats to all the 6 banger Camaro's out there. What a wonderful car.

What do you mean "it is only an L6"? Afterall, it is a Camaro. Congratulations and welcome new C5 member!
