Windshield Wind Noise
Hey whats up guys. Hey got a question for everyone. Since I got the car I have noticed alot of wind noise on the roof of the Camaro... I thought oh maybe its just the sun roof. Well i was detailing my car last night and realized that I didnt have a GM Factory windshield in it. Does anyone else noise alot of wind noise in their cars? or do you think that it could be from the aftermarket windshield maybe it wasnt put in right? Any help on this would be appreciated. Because it gets quiet annoying especially at 75+ it almost sounds like a window is open. There is no leaking though so thats a plus. Im just curious as to if this is a common problem.

no I have had the car doing 170+ on the autobahn and not windnoise from the windshield, alot of hood flex but overall very composed and quiet

Yeah when i had it up to 135 it was crazy loud

Only the LS is capped at 118.... The 1LT goes til about 146 before it peters out and just cant go anymore... I havent had mine that fast but I have been in one that went 146 before and it was just a bone stock 1LT

Ok so pretty sure we have ruled out at possibility of a general windshield noise... what about you guys with Sunroofs do you hear any noise from them when they are closed? Just trying to figure out all possibilities before i go tell the retarded chevy dealership to fix it for me lol

Oh you got the 19" wheels, I think those are rated higher so you may be right.

Yeah mine is the Synergy Edition so its pretty much an RS minus the Headlights/Taillights and HUD... it has the spoiler, wheels, and the connectivity package on it. I think that is the reason because I always thought mine capped at 118 and my buddy was like nah you have the 19s which have a higher rating and since the cap goes by your tire rating yours will be able to blow by 118... and well sure enough it did lol
