Large mirror that European.
The ZL1 is not officially imported into France.
I matter it myself, so it keeps the U.S. retro.

Excuse my english very bad.

Understood...though your car is not a US model.
It has headlamp washers and orange rear turn signals.
So from where did you get it ?

There is just the US Model of the ZL1.

As already stated in this thread, you have to change a few things to accomplish regulations. No red/brake-turn signals, a rear fog light, washers for HID lights. Without these changes you can't get the car licensed.

@Fred 16:
Would like to see how your lights work on turn and brake.
Putting in the European Spec tails should have worked, too. Maybe you could have gone without the additional fog light?
Before Facelift this was not possible, as the EU's had the awkward looking RayBan-style tails.

I did not realize that you had to make the EU changes yourselves for the ZL1.
Kudos to you all for getting it done !

I am also interesting in the EU mirrors for myself.
They may not look as slick, but I like that they hinge and probably provide a better rearward view.

Hi Rumblebee,
in Germany the ZL1 is imported by Chevrolet or you have to modify something for licensing it?

The zl1 is not imported by chevy. Its grey market. Not in germany and not in switzerland, and i dont think chevy imports the zl1 to the eu.

Maybe you can exchange with an owner of a EU model, because almost every owner here wants to change his sidemirrors to US or even Concept Style ones, the european Dumbos are considered too big. But if they appeal to you, you could get them for free except shipping and maybe already painted in CRT this way.
They are all the same (auto dimmed and heated), as there is only one trim level over here which is almost identical to the 2SS.

Felicitation pour cette belle voiture. C'est le genre de copain que je voudrais avoir quand je retourne en France de visite

Enjoy your ride, good thing you don't have it in Paris, too many jealous people living over there.
