Kinda similar story, i got mine on may 13 and i went to a chevy dealer that had been inviting everyone to view the camaro, the one they were showing wasnt for sale it was traveling from dealer to dealer and i showed up in mine and they were pissed they actually asked me to leave. I thought it would be cool to have an owner there ya know? but they thought i was tryin to ruin their event or something oh well heh i went to the mall and broke some necks after that.

I owned a '71 Challenger and a '68 Camaro. I have to say that if you put someone in a timemachine from 1975 and plant them in 2010, they'd definitely identify the Challenger right off the bat and then after a little prompting get the Camaro.

I think they are both pretty much equals in regards to the homage they pay to their 1st gen namesakes, but unless you're a diehard Mopar guy, car enthusiasts like the Camaro more... bottom line, the amount of pre-orders speak for themselves.
I also have a unique perspective, I own a '08 Challenger SRT8 and a '10 Camaro 2LT RS.

The SRT8 is a beast and wouldn't make a very good daily driver. The Camaro on the hand, burns regular gas. Both get alot of looks.
