The decals are scavenged from a '69 Yenko Camaro kit.

Someone did bring back the Yenko. The classic anyway. I saw an article in the March 2009 issue of Super Chevy where a company is making what's called "continuation" Yenkos. Check out the article: http://www.superchevy.com/features/c...o_camaro/index.

I don't know where this Honda owns Yenko nonsense came up. Honda does NOT and never will own the Yenko name.

HOWEVER Yenko Chevrolet has ceased to exist, and is now a Honda dealership. Dealers are not owned in any way by the Manufacturers.

It would be up to the Yenko family to release their name to a new line of Camaros. And considering that they have a relationship with Honda, its possible they would not.

The truth of the matter is that the Yenko organization that produced the Yenko Camaros has long been gone, people, equipment, everything. If someone bought the rights from the Yenko family all you would really have is a Yenko Camaro in name with no guarantee that it would be an outstanding performance version. I personally would rather see the Yenko Camaro remain in history than see someone buy the rights and produce Yenkos that are nothing more than special decal packages.

First off Yenko Honda is no longer. It is now South Hills Honda.
Second off the dealership was sold in 1982 to non-family. At this point if South Hills no longer owns the name than anyone could use it...

Hennessey has already signed onto to making a special camaro...called the HPE700....714 HP!!!...i think they want just 30k for the upgrades...they put the ZR1 engine in it with ZR1 suspension and other ZR1 goodies.
