New Here

I have been lingering around the site for a while now and decided to post. My wife and I ordered a black 2SS.

We went to a local dealership today to check out the new camaro. They had a yellow V6 with a sunroof. The sticker on the car was $29k. They were trying to sell it today for $44k. While we were there people were asking them why it was marked up so much. They told them that it is what everyone was doing. They would not even open it up for us to look inside it. It is ridiculous how much dealers are marking these cars up.

One guy was in there trying to get someone to co-sign with him so he could buy it. I wanted to let everyone know they could just order one and get it a whole lot cheaper.

Tell you this, they will not sell as many cars as they want to with mark ups like this. Go ahead dealers, keep it up. You'll lose many, many customers just to make a few dollars. Also, if you lose sales, you also lose the service dollars you might have had for the future.

HOLY HELL!!! $15K Mark up!! Holy crap! Even dealers here are marking them up, but only about 2 grand, at the most. That is some crap there... wow!

Welcome to the site. Very nice pictures. Stick around, stay a while. You'll have fun here

I could not believe there were people actually thinking about buying with that much markup. The mark up turned us off from ever using that dealership to purchase a car.

It is in Odessa. The Midland dealership said they would not have one in for another 2 weeks or so.
