Official Break-in Instructions
So I know there's been lots of talk and numerous threads about this, but of course everyone has there own ideas and their own way of doing things... but I think now that a few guys have taken delivery, this would be a good way to settle this question...
So would any of you be so kind as to post up the recommended break-in instructions according to what it says in the user manual? Thanks! |

It says to vary rpms and to stay under 4000 rpm for the first 1500 miles thats the simple version also it says to change the rear end grease before any kind of racing but only after 1500 mile break in also similar for the brakes no hard stops ect. OH WELL I'M GOOD ON MOST OF THESE

throw a rock through the window, always works like a charm when breaking in.

Just drive gentle for a while. Little taste once it's warmed and cooled a few times prob won't hurt. (give it a few heat cycles before doggin).
2nd oil change I recommend Royal Purple break in oil, 3rd oil change and beyond Royal Purple full synth 5-30. Just a personal recommendation. BTW If you do that.. let me know so I can buy your car used vs some AVIS car probably with cheap dirty oil and a bad break in lol. |

Well if you pay for it you do what you want. Everything else is just advice.
I would only want to say what I would do not tell someone they have to baby it. |

I'd say dont lay a 150 foot patch of rubber out of the dealership parking lot.
Once your about a 1/2 mile down the road its broken in. |
