jba high flows and muffler/ res delete __ omg
I also have the true x...this thing is LOUD now...I don't mean a little loud; its a lot loud. I like loud and I still find this loud. How I won't get pulled over I have no idea, its that loud. I've been giggling at the raucous I'm making all evening. It's...people will jump and crap their pants loud...this might take some getting used too. Much louder than a muffler delete alone.

Oh but 3 pepe have give out of their way to tell me it sounds awesome, so it must be good. But if you thought your car got attention before, this is like an announcement that you're around. People look, lol.

What's wrong with LT's, no resonators and JBA "mufflers"?
My wife refuses to drive my car now, hell, she rarely even wants to ride in it. I had a kid pull up to a red light and rev his little 370z, I goosed mine and he wouldn't look back over at my car. Didn't try to jump on the light either for some reason.

Finally installed my JBA hi-flow cats / mid pipes today behind the previously installed BBK shorty headers and Cold Air Inductions CAI and I am very pleased. The exhaust note during normal driving is a tad more throaty but still subdued BUT it really screams when I put my right foot in it. The best part though is how crisp the throttle response is and the biggest jump of seat of the pants power of any performance mod I've done to date. Did a short run on the highway and did not notice any drone from 65mph to 75mph in 6th gear nor any objectionable increase in cabin noise. I'm running the stock exhaust pipes with resonators and factory H crossover, GMPP "on road touring" mufflers, JBA hi-flow cats / mid pipes, BBK stainless shorty headers and Cold Air Inductions CAI. Yes the first O2 sensor on the drivers side nearly touches the bell housing so if I ever had to remove it I'd have to remove the driver side mid pipe but that's fine. I used black oxide ARP 12 point flange ( 12mm head ) m10-1.50 X 35mm bolts with ARP stainless steel 12 point flange ( 12mm head ) m10-1.50 nuts to secure the JBA mid pipes to the BBK headers with the stock GM metal gaskets with the "wire mesh" removed. The quality fasteners are available from AllensFasteners.com. I like so many others who do not want a tune are very happy with the hi-flo mid pipes and shorty header combo. If you are going to Talladega in 2 weeks you can hear and see this setup run in person.
