V6 calipers question
I got a set of calipers powdercoated, but I need to remove the excess from the mounting holes where the bolts go. Anyone have one around that could measure the size of that hole so I don't remove too much material with a drill bit?

The bolts thread into the caliper. Best bet would be to use the correct size tap to clean the threads out. Don't put a drill bit in there.

The holes do not seem to have had threads... they just have a few coats of PC, so the bolts don't go in all the way... the threads pass through, but the unthreaded part doesnt. Last edited by Toasty; 03-12-2012 at 04:17 PM. |
