did we ever get confirmation what this car is/was? Was it really the z28 in testing at the time?

nice rival for GT500 - 540 BHP

Whatever did happen to this car? Well, by now, its probably been sent to it's death, but was there any comfirmation of this beening a Z28 in testing?

Hi guys, I was reading that the ss is coming out before the z28. isn't the ss a better car? I had a 94 camaro z28 I loved my car, but then I moved to the siverado ss and I love my truck and I would like the new ss ,but I'm being long eyed and wondering why the z28 is coming out later ,will it be better than the ss? what do you guys think?

No this car just has accessories on it, and yes the Z28 MAY come out later.

Long story short, the Z28 has generally been considered the better car, unless you are a drag racer. The 4th gen SS's were built as Z28's then a couple of modifications were done afterward. The estimates for the 5th gen Z28 indicate that it would have a supercharged engine, other performance enhancements are unknown, cost would be roughly equal to the GT500 (~$50 000).
