Can you "clay and go"?

Hey guys,

This is probably a really stupid question, but I ran out of daylight while polishing my car tonight.
Some areas didn't get a polishing after my clay bar treatment (both sides of the car) so they are as they were after I clayed and polished off the detail spray I used as the lubricant (all products used were Adam's, if that helps)

Have I committed some sort of detailing cardinal sin? (ie, is my car gonna look like ass in the daylight tomorrow morning?)

I really wish I had more room in my garage....

No you'll be fine. Just make sure you do a wash before you resume polishing.

In the future, when time is tight, do complete detailing on sections at a time. Rather than claying the whole car and not having time for anything else, clay a section or two, polish them and seal them.

Just keep in mind you don't have any protectant anywhere, so avoid anything that could do damage until you can get some sealant/wax on there

It never had anything on it anyway as I just got the car from the dealership 4 days ago, but still, good point.

Gonna finish it off tomorrow night.

Cheers!

I've made that mistake a time or two or three or four.
