Modular Transmission Crossmembers for 1st Generation F-Body Swap just about any GM transmission into your 1967-1969 F-Body with a Transmission Conversion Crossmember from BMR Suspension. These modular crossmembers provide 9.75" of adjustment to accommodate Powerglide, TH350, Muncie 4 speed, TH400, TH700R4, 4L60E, T-56, TR6060, Magnum, and 4L80E transmissions. how much are these anyone know one crossmember does it all,i might be needing one if i decide to do a t-56 swap.i see there designed for the first generation but can they be made to work with the 79camaro.

As you know this is for the 1st generation cars but we are developing a crossmember that will work on the 2nd generation car. These crossmembers should allow you to use whatever transmission you would like. I am not sure when we will have the 2nd generation crossmembers done but it will happen. When we release them we will have them on our website and let everyone know on the forums.

I wish I had this when I installed my Tremec TKO. I had to loosen the rear body mounts, pry the body from the mounts and jack the trans up against the floorpan to get the Tremec mount installed.
