2011 NATIONAL GM TEST DRIVE EVENT

Once again, GM is touring the country side with it's national TEST DRIVE EVENT.
This is a great way to get out and test drive GM vehicles, without the hassels of salespeople, and you walk away with a $10 gas card (better than nothing).

In the past Camaro5 members had get togethers (GTG), and WE STOLE THE SHOW, as everyone came over to look at OUR cars.
Give it a try in your communities, and see what reaction YOU get.
You'll be pleasantly surprised at how people come over to look at your cars and talk to you and get a "personal" perspective of the car.
Great GM marketing on our parts.

Link with all info & dates.

you'd think they'd make at least one stop on Vancouver Island, it's only 800 kms long and has a population of 750,000. I guess they're too cheap to pay for the ferry...lol

I'm thinking of heading to the GTA event at Markville today - I want to drive a Volt and the CTS-V.

It was one of these events where I first sat in and drove a Camaro - I had ordered mine but never sat in one or driven one... what a day! It was funny because they had a Vette, and noone wanted to drive it, everyone was waiting for the Camaro.

FYI

GM TEST DRIVE: Aug 6 & 7 @ Hillcrest Mall in Richmond Hill, Ont.

Many great vehicles to choose from (Chev, Buick, Cadi & GMC)

I took out the Volt & Cadi CTS V, talk about cars at the opposite end of the scale.
Both performed great for their category.

If the gov't doesn't step in with incentives for the Volt, I can't see too many being purchased @ the starting price of $41,000.

No multiple versions, usually all automatics. Pre-outlined route, usually side streets around the mall, and accompanied by GM rep, no "hotdogging" allowed.

Check original post with link to schedule across Canada.

I know it's Thankgiving weekend, but if anyone is available either the Sat or Sun, and wants to get together, this would be the perfect opportunity, since people are always asking, to do so.

If you're intersted post up, and we'll see what kind of response we get. I'm not setting up anything offically.

I'm available either of the two days (right now) to meet up at the event.

Hey folks, went out to the test drive today, had a great time, with great cars. If you get a chance you should get out and enjoy the event.

I'm torn between the Sonic & the Cadi CTS V Im not sure which one I should buy.

It's not going on today is it Frank? I didn't see your post in time yesterday. Otherwise I would have joined you. I could maybe do coffee today.
