Thank you sir!^
I have to say the decision between the two, for me at least, will be a tough one. One thing that does bug me about the 6, well two things are: 1) No mail slot (which can be easily fixed) and 2) the brakes look WAYY small. The exhaust is a little on the small side as well. Fortunately all of these things can be modified. On the flip side the SS comes pretty much just the way I'd like.

Started raining as I was typing that post, hopefully the hail isn't large enough to do too much damage. Those poor guys, I bet some of those cars have never seen rain.

I posted the below in PINK's thread today...I could have sworn yesterday, this thread did not allow attachments...oh well: SORRY FOR THE REPOST
Had a great day in INDY. I don't recall if Scotty said the first day to take orders was 10/15 or 10/13...but, according to the GM presentation the first day will be 10/13. -They said that on that date the Dealers will know their allocations for the first three months. But, price May or May NOT be available on that date. -HUD will be available in June 2010 SOP (2011 MY) -molded rear fender splash guards will be avail -High wing spoiler (5 colors) and ground effects avail -Hood and Hockey stripe (3 colors) -Rally Stripe (5 colors) (according to Scott...all stripes will be vinyl (not painted)) -engine covers for V6 and V8 in five colors -performance parts: air intake, catback exhaust, shorty headers, and Hurst short throw shifter -GM performance parts for LS based engines: Crate engines, Blocks, Heads, valve covers, camshafts, intake manifolds, head gaskets -exterior accessories: spoiler, rear diffuser, fuel door, high spoiler, car cover with Rally Stripes -interior accessories: Carbon Trim Kit, Body Colored Lighted Trim Kit (Yellow, Red, Orange), Floormats, subwoofer -wheel/performance parts: chrome 21" wheel, painted 21" wheel, catback exhaust, airbox Couple things I noticed - NO key in the passenger side door handle (see pics). and the trunk is very big, especially with the seat folded down (see pics) Here's a few unusual shots:

Those interior pics are beautiful. I don't think I'll be missing anything by avoiding the orange interior option.
The SS looks great without the RS package. With money the way it is, that is becoming a real choice for me. I like knowing that I might not be missing enough to break the deal for me.

Hmmm, I hate that HUD won't be out for 2 years. Good thing I'm patient.
Anyone hear the V8 start up? How's the exhaust note? |

I asked Scott to fire it up.... He said the exhaust note is not final and did not want us to hear it until it is
