I put mine on right on the car. Full pre-cut blackout set. Some needed a tiny bit of trimming, but a sharp razor took care of that.
Also my new lowered look... can't believe it took me this long! Better ride and better looks!

Yeah, they're on the driver side only... I took the picture from the "plain side" because my buddy is currently using my driveway to store his old BMW 318ix... I felt like it would be an affront to the Camaro community if an eyesore like that was in the background!
On a related note, they are probably coming off, they got stained with something and I may try matte black next... or maybe carbon fiber?

In the spirit of the community, I've got a decent garage and tool box, I'd be happy to offer them up as well as help out

My brother Jim and a budy took my car to get stripes and went a little crazzy. They also did the hood and strut brace. I think I like just the 1le on the hood |

Your absolutely right, it was. The tear down seemed to take longer then the rebuild though. You are also absolutely right, and that was the plan, at-leased until someone mentioned a cam and long tubes. With the cam in the mix a converter was necessary, and with the converter on the table, and up to that point in the tear down, the removal of the engine seemed to be the easier way to proceed. I see you have met Don at Slowhawk a few times too, I went to say hi when it was done.
