Is there a way to program the sunroof to auto close when you shut the key off?
I had a gmc jimmy from the nineties that did that. I can't believe with all this technology that a 2012 Camaro doesn't do this by default.

yes there is a way, and it is called rain. gets your attention to automatically close the damn thing every time.

I'm sure there is a way. Maybe it is something that GM could give us in the form of a software/firmware update?

It's probably a safety concern why it doesn't do it. Like your door power windows, they go auto down but not up. The door windows could do some serious damage to someone who wasn't paying attention, kids, dogs, dumb adults.

I think they just do, meaning that we don't have the option to program them.

As far as I know the Camaros have always had auto up windows. Mine came with it and the 11s I researched last year had it too.

As for the sunroof, I'd love for it to auto close!

I can understand the power windows not going up automatically but I'd like if the sunroof would as well. I didn't want the sunroof at first but then I got a discount on my sunroof from the dealer and took it. It'd be nice if it would automatically close. I can live without it though. It's cold now anyways.

My windows auto-up as well (RS V6). Have been wondering since I got her the very same thing about the sunroof lol. I was always like "I sure wish it would auto-close w/ the touch of the button, just like it auto opens". I dunno... just think they coulda done better & made it auto-close.

I also hate how when you get the RS package... the freaking FOG lights AREN'T fog lights... just daytime running lights :O Daytime running lights?? My neighbors have a MINIVAN that has foglights... and my Camaro RS doesn't?? WTH?? FML :(
