Has the 4th ever let you down? Have you ever found a comparable car to that 35th? Really ask yourself these things before pulling that trigger. Remember I did the same thing considering that GTA/LS1 build before we found the frame was salvageable. It was never gonna be the same.

If you have to, absolutely have to.. I understand. But really ask yourself and do some soul searching. I bet you could get twice out of the 5th gen than you could out of the 4th.
Would be completely upside-down on the 5th gen, and really wouldn't make much, if anything from the sale. The 02 will bring in some solid money, unfortunately.

We're still not entirely locked into selling it yet, but it's really looking that way. :(

Doing the right thing can sting a little. but you'll find her a great home.

True that man. It's gonna be tough, I'm already depressed and it's still not a sure thing. :/

I saw the thread title from the 4th gen board, and immediately thought 'WTF?! NO!"
Actually seeing this thread:
REVOOO!!
BIG NOOOOOOOO!

I really wish I could throw my hat into the ring (my dad is looking to sell the '69 RS/SS and '71 Stingray and using a fraction of the cash to buy an '01-'02 SS), but [very] unfortunately, that's easily a month away and it looks like your baby isn't a stick.
She is still an amazing car, no matter what, Ben! While I clearly hope you don't have to sell it, if that can't be the case, I definitely hope you get an amazing offer.
Best of luck. :flag1:

I know the feeling on this Revo. at least if you do sell, you are selling in one piece. I had the wonderful time of pulling my 94Z apart piece by piece. Granted, I had my 78 back to take the 94's place, but it still sucks either way when you've invested as much time and energy into these cars.

Hopefully you wont have to sell, but if you do, maybe you can work out a lease/pawn type of setup where you have a friend that is well-off can "buy" it from you till you get your feet back on the ground then you "buy" it back.

Yeah man, it blows :(

That would be awesome, wish I knew someone with the money to help me out like that.

Eme is just as sad about letting it go as I am, but so far there's no way around it. :( She def won't go on a lowball though, I can tell you that for sure.

I just feel like selling it. The 2010 could use a supercharger, and I'm kinda sick of looking at it anyway...

But really, a necessity has come up and with our recent purchase of a home, money is tight. Nowhere else to get the cash.

I don't supposed you'd be interested in a trade?
My '98 could fetch $4,000 after a window motor swap (I have to motors handy, actually). It's a win-win! You get $4,000 and your SS get's a good home.

If you still haven't sold it in a year, let me know. Willing to put off getting a ZL1 for this beauty.
