Yes, the skip shift really s*cks. I have no imagination how you could save gas with that.

Mine from Apex is on its way...

For that price, it is a no-brainer. I must have it tuned out, because I never receive any indication on the DIC. I have to assume that with the skip shift eliminator, you'll still get the message, but you'll still be able to shift into 2nd or 3rd.

Indeed.

The message will still pop up (although others claim it does..but I think that is just because they aren't hitting the 1-4 shift point) but you can shift right into second if you please.

I only hit it once this morning going to and from the airport...but I caught it just as I was speeding up so it went away.

Long gone and forgotten I would assume. What with all the mods.

I guess it might still apply to some parts of the car.

And I (have to) like my warranty, for the next 5 years.

Probably for the best really, haha. I'm pretty much guaranteed to break something.

Yeah true. I'm gonna have excess funds available when I void powertrain just in case something does decide to go out on me.

Stop racing rice rockets and you might be alright.

But not like there's a lack of them down here. Some idiot has a 5 point harness in is old as civic. I'd be surprised to see that thing top 60MPH. It sounds, looks, and in general is... HORRIBLE!
