If you get the right kind of floor then you won't have to worry about it. These floors are specifically designed for people to work on them. Plus all that i have seen are completely sealed so you can't possibly stain it.

What lift is this? Anyone know? I know some type of scissor lift but looks more practical for the weekend guy than a huge 4 or even 2 post lift.

Damn! Your garages make my living room look lame. Wowee. My Camaro is stored in a Barn next to an ocean boat, a broke down truck, a harvester, and 3 tractors......cemented floor at least though
