1. If the oil takes a long time to drain I'm in no rush. My lazy ass can pull up my lawn chair grab a cold beer and wait it out.
2. As far as it breaking upon removal that remains the be seen for me have not installed yet
3.off roading? Seriously? I don't even like going over speed bumps.

looks good, may think of doing something like this too; hate getting splashed every time I take the plug out!

Thumbs down

I feel like a complete idiot. While changing the oil yesterday I disconnected the mass air flow sensor to make the air intake more flexible to move out the way so that I had more space to take the top housing off of the oil filter. Would have been a great idea to replace that before throwing (seven)7 codes and a trip to the dealer

It's about time I change the oil now since the last. I'm gonna get some tubing and let it run out.

Oil change done. The valve works perfectly. I unscrewed the filter cap first and left it off. Jacked it up, pulled the pan underneath (forgot about the tubing) hit the switch and let it run. Drained for awhile, I went talking and for on the phone. By the time I came back it was done. Closed the switch added 5 quarts of Royal Purp and voila its done.

Doesn't the V6 engine take 6 quarts of oil?
