Startup hesitation

Hey Guys,

I am not sure how to describe this problem, hopefully you guys have some feedback. I started having this issue probably about month and a half ago. Basically when I cold start the car every morning when I turn the key the ignition kicks in like normal but there is some sort of hesitation of a split second where the car feels like it chokes and then comes back to start normal. It happens 9 out of 10 times and only when the car is parked over night. everyother moment car starts fine. No codes, no engine problems, no power loss. It is very weird and I wanted to share it and see if anybody else has experience this issue before. I drive a 15 2SS 1LE for the 1LE owners that want to chime in as well. I have about 12k miles on it.

Thank you!

Sounds fuel related, did you try a fuel additive that removes water?

My friends car would not start in the morning unless he held his foot on the gas.

Added dry gas and all is well now.

My 1LE does the same thing, I plan to replace the plugs and wires, and possibly the battery. I am doing a cam and tune the same time so I am sure that will fix the hesitation.
