I picked up a new 2010 1SS LS3 last week for $27,056 this is with options such as GM pert exh, Rally Stripes, 4 gauge pod, 20" wheels, and premium mats. I used GM Employee, Loyalty, USAA discounts, and the $1,500 of free acces upgrades.

None that I know of, unless the sales guy worked some magic. I went to that dealership multiple time, and spoke to the same guy everytime. We could never make the numbers work to where I could afford it. Last time I went in, I sought him out. I told him, this is your last chance. If you don't get me in a Camaro today, you will not get me in one. A little back and forth on trade in value for my '07 Trailblazer SS, and ta dahhh !

Probably see a few used SS models starting to pop up as the ZL-1 is hitting the streets...

Where are some of you coming up with these prices of 27k or 28k for new? Doesn't make sense. The spread between MSRP an invoice in a 1SS is about a grand tops. Say you get a USAA discount, $750, use GM Earnings, $1,000 max. By the time you factor in tax, tags, etc. I really don't see someone walking out the door with a 1SS for less than 30k

I agree with you about the spread being a grand. I paid list minus a $500 dealer's coupon for mine on 5/20/09. Other's at the same dealership were paying a $5,000.00 "adjustment". My SS is my 4th camaro so the dealer didn't try this on me. I would have walked out and kept my 02 SS. If people could afford the mark-up to be first on the block with a new model, then good luck to them. Their cars just depreciated that 5 gees immediately.
