Im so fed up with olympics this and olympics that. Seriously it hasn't even started yet and im annoyed lol. It hasnt even started and i wish it was over. Too bad all the media and energy wasnt used for something more pertinent and long lasting like Battered women, Autism and such and such. Its kinda pathetic. Anyone else? (probly not lol, I know one person that will jump on this like corn to poop lol)

Like it or not (and that's each persons opinion) you have to understand the added media coverage, why?, because it's on Canadian soil this time around.

I'm not a huge fan of Olympics (especially summer games), but you have to show you Canadian Pride. Just bare with the media hoopla, I'm sure once the games start it will be different.

Some yeah, but I wouldn't say its been overexposed. But at the same time I would much rather see their attention on something like the Olympics than on something to scare us (H1N1) or pointless celebrity gossip.

I really have no canadian pride lol. canada identity is a very stoic and falsley forced identity IMO. The whole hockey, beer and eh thing is pretty lame. Take away that and what is there? I dunno I was born here and it does nothing for me and I am never proud to tell anyone where im from. Im actually embarrased at times.
