NEC5 Honors Phil "Filthy Phil" Therien

Hello, fellow New England Camaro 5 members and Camaro5.com friends. It was with deep sorrow that we were informed of our friend Phil Therien's passing on October 11th 2015. Many of you know him by his Camaro5 name Filthy Phil SS/RS and others as the friend he was Filthy Phil. It was with reluctance and some self encouragement that i undertook the task to find a way to properly honor such a friend to us all. With the approval of his family i began thinking of ways to honor him and we settled on a donation memorial to the American Heart Association. We will be taking donations online and in person to be contributed directly to the fund throughout the 2016 car show year after 2016 we will be leaving the memorial up for awhile so others may donate if they wish or were unable to attend an event this year. We will be having a tribute to phil with his family in attendance at a show to be announced when the details are ironed out with show organizers.

LOCATION: Anheuser-Busch Plant, Merrimack, NH

Date and Location has been planned and the therien family has expressed gratitude and appreciation to all of us for our kind words and support. As the previous post outlined we will be holding a 2016 tribute to phil donation for the AHA. We hope to have an AHA Representitive on hand at this event and i'm currently in the process of figuring that out.

Whoever may have the phil trophy please attend or pass it off at a show earlier.
