Confused about where in the exhaust NOWEEDS diverts...

I get very tired of the library quiet stock exhaust sometimes, but I also drive through bad sections of Philly a few times a week and need to have the car quiet to not bring attention to myself. It looks like NOWEEDS is the perfect solution, but I'm confused as to where the diverters are actually placed. After cats and resonators, before mufflers? Before cats/resonators?

I guess I need that answered first, but on an otherwise stock exhaust, is the loudness very noticeable over stock (which I want)? Assuming it's after the cats/resonators, I can't imagine NOWEEDS (without LTs/high flow cats) is THAT much louder/mean sounding compared to stock.

Does anyone have a video of NOWEEDS on an otherwise 100% stock exhaust? The only vidoes I've found after searching for awhile have LTs and/or a cam...

Thanks so much!

The manual pretty much covers your question:

You might also want to take a look at the pictures on their homepage:

They're usually mounted directly after cats before the resonators.

Can't help you with a video on a stock camaro, but I can confirm that they're gonna up the loudness a lot - even with the stock cats on.

I know v6 sounds much different than v8, but how was the sound on your LT (assuming you had stock headers) with the flaps opened as opposed to closed?

I guess I'm worried that with stock headers on an SS, it would be an unrefined, loud sound. I don't want the car to sound like an old, loud pick up truck with straight pipes.

Been running them for months and LOVE them!! Quality is A++!! Search my user name and you will find pics and vids in a few threads. I have LTs and no cats plus a cam though. Design is 100% better than ANY cut out! Well worth the money!
