Modding this weekend question..

Going to install these items this weekend then drive to tuner monday..

Build List:

Tony Mamo TB
918856 ATI damper
9.17 lingenfelter Supercharger Ring 15% or 18% going by certain websites.
TSP Headers
NGK 6510 1 heat range colder plugs

Will I be ok driving it easy to tuner or should I pick up a stock pulley size for blower.. About 25 miles... shift at 2500 rpms?

Do not drive it without a base tune. Shouldn’t even be started until it does. The blower is going to spin 15-18% faster and need that much more fuel, then you have the back pressure change with headers and different temp plug etc. I’d see if you can get a trailer or get the tuner to come to you or a remote tune or anything except for driving it.

Be easier to just get a stock blower ring and similar price..

unless injectors are changed, you can drive it IMHO. You have to be very gentle and no throttle applications above “grandma”. You will get a check engine light but who cares. Call your tuner to confirm.

My car was driven to the tuner a few miles with similar mods with no ill effect. You’ll probably be fine, just keep the rpm as low as possible and drive easy. 25 miles is quite a ways though.

Yep, drive it if tuner is close (less than an hour IMO) but stay out of boost.

What kind of HP gains do ZL1's usually get from say a mid pipe and catback switch?

Did you get an OEM replacement GM crank bolt to use? If so it doesn't fit. It will not pass through ATI hub. Just confirmed on mine.
