Thumbs up Front License plate Mod. only $8

well as some of you may know i recieved a front license plate fix it ticket a couple of months ago and well i wasn't going to pay $100+ for a motorized license plate or a show and go. So i went to my nearest Autozone store and purchased a couple of things costing me $8 and well i think i have a award winning product. Now i will show you my finished product and you guys if you need to can do the same and it has NO DRILLING REQUIRED so your bumper is safe. Trust me Now im off to the Inglewood City Hall to pay for my ticket and see if this works. wish me luck

Step By Step Process:

First wrap around the Trim piece around the Camaro plate holder the tip Can be a little tricky so i cut some small pieces and made it fit that way your bumper and your plate holder plastic won't touch and won't get damaged.

Once you have done this there will be left overs cut small pieces and put them on the inside of the plate holder that way it also has some protection for your bumper. the 3rd picture shows it without the trim and the 4th picture shows it with the trim Remember guys i want to protect my car as much as possible this is why i did this.

Now that your Plate holder is done you can step outside to your car and Use the zip ties and attach it to your bumper. Put the fat end of your zip tie facing out that way it won't scratch your bumper and then attached, cut out the excess and your are good to go, but remember when screwing in your license plate to the holder make sure you get a nail that isn't long or else you will screw your self into the bumper then you are really screwed .

No. He told me that they held him in jail over-night for trying to pull a fast one on them.

J/k, I'm sure he was able to get away with it.

I zipp tied my bracket on without any hassle, once the plate is screwed on to the bracket you can't tell how it is attached to the car. It really doesn't look that bad to have it on ther and avoid the hassle of being pulled over.
