Decel pop - wow

Had a Stainless Works muffler delete and a Magnaflow X pipe done today. '13 LS3. Sounds real ballsy at idle and accel but I was surprised by the amount of decal pop. Any harm to the engine????

Congrats. Getting ride of the factory mufflers and resonators will get some pop. It won't hurt anything.

Decel pop is a function of the DFCO (deceleration fuel cut off) in the stock tune. Any time you swap to more aggressive exhaust you hear it. It is not hurting anything and if you do not like it you can tune it out. Congrats on the upgrade!
