If your just talking cat-back and no headers I've really started to like the Stainless Works Retro.

I just put 3" American Thunder Flowmaster mufflers on. Nice sound at idle and throttle, but the highway drone is excessive. Not sure what they sound like on stock exhaust, but with headers, and full 3" exhaust with hi-flo cats and x-pipe back to the mufflers, the highway drone is really overpowering. I am not sure what to try instead, but I was wondering if the hushpower has the same drone? |

That's what I'm talking about, cat back with no headers. Maybe a different story after the headers. Too many projects going on now.

Personal preference. I cringe at everything I have heard other than the Flowmaster AMT. I have never been a fan of Flowmaster over the past 20 years until now.

Flowmaster has always been my favorite, I have 3 inch Flowmasters on my 71 and 88 Camaros and they both sound mean as hell, but I have Corsa with LT's on my 2010 SSRS and I love it, but I do sometimes wish I went with the Flowmasters on my 2010, I have never heard a 2010 SS Flowmaster with LT's in person though, so when I do and if it sounds better than the Corsa, I might be swapping out the Corsa for the Flowmaster.

The funny thing is my old school cars had spintech's, dynomax, ect. I never wanted flowmaster's untill I got my camaro! Personally I feel its the only muffler's I think really has the sound I like on these LSX engines! Not that I dont like them on old car's... it was just so many guys had them! I cant wait to hear these 1 chambers with the long tubes I just ordered.

I think you guys need to go check out Solo Performance. They really have it together with the new Camaro. I bought my catback from Juiced Motorsports not sure who else sells them. But check them out, they have a few different systems but they all sound TUFF and don't drone at all!!!! I paired mine up with some ARH headers and now it's just sick!!! If anyone is on the fence check them out. I beleive I paid $1000 shipped for the Solo catback and a Roto-Fab from Juiced Motorsports so they aren't over priced either.

I like the Power Sticks by Classic Chambered Exhaust a lot. I haven't heard one on a 5th gen yet but I have heard them on LS engines and thought they sounded great. Also have them on my car and get compliments all over the place, granted the LT1 sounds a bit different. They have sort of a GMMG-ish sound.
