JRE race scoop?

Hey guys, I recently installed my CAI Inc intake but I did not purchase the JRE race scoop and washer bottle relocate kit. Just wondering if this is a decent mod and how easy it was to install?

Thanks!

I don't have the bottle relocation. I don't use the car enough to get the windshield dirty.. I'd imagine its pretty simple.

I have the scoop and the bottle relocation.
Here is an example.
If I use one of my logs as an example.
When I was staged the IAT temps was 100-102F.
By the end of the quarter mile, it went down to 73-75F.
And the weather was between 70-75F
So the IAT went down 25F in 1/4 of a mile.
So IMO, I think it's worth it.

What's the information without the scoop? Without that the information you provided is as useful as the wart on my ass.

I appreciate the reply, but a comparison would be more helpful. How was the w/w bottle relo install? I've heard it can be a little tricky from other posts?

If I can do it, anyone can. Consider using some kind of insulation around the scoop.
Raise car, jack stands.

Tire comes off. Carefully, lug nuts are soft. 22mm
Liner comes off. 20 torx I think. Also some annoying plastic rivet thingys - flat head screw driver.

And then you cut but the cut picture won't match the instructions. Looks changed for my 2012. I just cut the horizontal and folded back.

Edit: paint scoop with some kind of aluminum safe paint. Allow time for drying and a few coats. I used black.
