Cars and Coffee v.5.29 *Clown Car INVASION!*

If there was ever a Cars and Coffee which necessitated theme music THIS was it! It was quite the sight to see a parade of Clown Cars...errr...Micro Cars come in all at once and invade Cars and Coffee. While they were driving in I had Carnival music playing in my head, it was just plain surreal! Represented amongst the group were DKW, Lloyd, Crosley, Bantam, Isettas, Peel P50 and Trident (George Jetson come in George Jetson where are you?!), four NSUs, Messerschmitts, Jollys, 500, 2CVs, Vespa, Goggomobil, Metropolitans and a Toyota Sports 800.

Simply put this was one of the best Cars and Coffee events we've ever had. It being a 3-day weekend we were expecting a good turnout, but we could have never anticipated this! By 6:45am the exhibitor lot had to be roped off because there was simply no more room. Dozens and dozens of great cars had to be turned away. I wish some of the drivers of mundane, stock late model super mass produced cars would have driven their cars out of the exhibitor lot and parked in the spectator lot like they should have in the first place. I'm talking about late model absolutely bone stock Corvettes, Porsche's, New Beetles, Camaro's, Mustangs, BMW's, Benzes, Mini's, heck even Loti (?). Some of these guys don't even bother to clean their rides, they seem entitled or just plain lazy and don't want to have to walk the few hundred feet from the Spectator lot to the Exhibitor lot.

But I digress...back to the main event: We had many great vehicles in attendance including Hot Rods, a 1923 Rolls Royce, a HMW, Hurst Camaro, Dino, 904, Packards, Gurney in his Alligator, Callaway in one of his Vettes, heck even a Triumph which went end over at Buttonwillow. All in all it was a great even, that truly showed why Cars and Coffee is so great. What other place can rival this kind of diversity?

Nevertheless, here are this weeks picks of the pics:

I love the Porsche 356. There will definitely be one in my garage in the next couple of years.

Ever look through the gallery? I know for a fact that I've taken a pic of your car before.

But frankly there are too many Camaros at Cars and Coffee.

I also like to rotate the pics I choose to highlight.

Yeah I looked through them all, I have been there a couple times with it and haven't seen any pics. I wanna see some shots of it in motion.

Hmmm...let me check through the 13,000 pics on my laptop. If I find a single pic of your car YOU owe ME a coffee!

Haha I just check the albums from the dates that I went to, and I haven't seen one yet. So do not waste your time checking. I always look on you tube for videos of C&C but there aren't nearly as many new ones as there used to be.

What dates did you go? I remember your car.
It'll help me narrow it down if you give me the dates.

Maybe I just couldn't get a good angle?

Seriously yours, the white ones with black wheels and Reeves's are my favorites.

I went this last week and about a month ago. Don't worry about it though.
