TD thanks for great information. Yes it helped a lot. I'll be purchasing the stock Brembo pads. I'll deal with the dust. Thanks also Matt.

Is there any difference in clearance from the caliper to the wheel vs stock brembo's?

What shipping did you guys get from Amazon. I left it with the free shipping option, since it's the same as standard. I hope it doesn't take forever. I ordered two days ago and they haven't at least shipped them out yet

So, looking for rotor choice alternatives for this setup so I can weigh my options. Not finding much out there that's made for the ZL1.

So my question is this: will a set of rotors designed for a CTS-V fit? These are aftermarket rotors, not the one piece that came on the CTS-Vs. Just want to make sure the V's don't have some wonky design difference that's different than a ZL1 before I order.

A lot of members used the actual cts v rotors in the 6 piston swap, so if it's designed for the cts v then it will work. But the cts v rear rotors have a different offset so we can't use cts v rear rotors from what I've read

Duly noted. I'll give the company a call tomorrow and see what they say, but if need be, I'll just buy ones made fore the CTS-V in the front only, then get some made for SS brakes in the rear.

I'm in the same boat as you. I was gonna get the cts v dual cast from amazon but I decided to be patient and grab the two piece zl1 rotors off amazon for a lil bit more.

I've got my eye on some from Brake Performance. I know they're nothing special performance wise, but I like the warranty and I just think they look cool lol. Plus they weigh slightly less than the CTS-V rotors.

Yea they do look pretty cool. And if you can get some rear matched SS rotors it would be sweet. How much are they asking.

$281 for the front CTS-V rotors (pair)
$201 for the rear SS rotors (pair)

Not bad at all. I would imagine they would be the same size as the oem cts v

Their website says they guarantee OEM fitment. I'm sure performance isn't any better than stock but they seem decent quality and the warranty gives me peace of mind.

Yea they should be good then. I just love how massive the ZL1 rotor is. I never imagined getting them until this post and I seen the amazon price. I'm gonna wait 2 weeks before I purchase the rotors. I ordered the 6 piston calipers, pins, and pads to get that out the way, now I gotta make a decision on rotors
