Fortunately, other than the dyno room, Coreys shop is air-conditioned... That was parked outside the shop...

that depends on whether you are headed into the shop or coming out of the shop...

Just South of Austin, on IH 35, head south out of Austin, and the first town is Buda, and then Kyle, then San Marcos... Let me know when your headed this way... If I'm home, you got a place to stay...

For those interested in the cage.... John and the Gang at TrackSpec Motorsports have put in place a 15% discount to try to get more people into a cage after Chris's incident...

They as a company viewed the video and decided to do this to help more people get into cages for all of us...

Thats Customer Care and Service...

WOW

I'd go for a cage in a heartbeat. But, I'd also want that blower before going the cage route. I talked to Chris after the incident finding out what happened....and that was only because he had a cage...

Well, the transmission should be coming out today and back to the transmission builder for a fix to the 3-4 shift issue. I'm also hoping my cage shows up later this week or early next week.

Corey promised some pictures before and start of the installation... He may wait until right before I get home for that and I'll help with the install... I want to see the front down tubes before they are installed...

I'm interested in a cage, but I want to see what yours looks like first. I'm mostly interested how it attaches in the back. I don't want to cut up my back seat if I don't have to.

Will do Doug, I'm sure once it's in the CNC program, he will be able to cut one at will... I'll let you know...

Apparently it is pretty strong in factory form, just cheesed on some of the internal parts... There was no damage or marking on my gears despite the grinding from 1-2 for a couple of thousand miles.. We are in the process of having the fork made for 3-4 shifts since there isn't one available...the biggest thing done so far was the carbon fiber synchros and the shift forks with bronze bushings... To date I have about 800 in parts and less in labor, tranny only.... I'll update that as we go, and my ACT clutch seems to be settling in and the chatter is getting better all the time so I'll stick with it for a while and see what happens...

I'll be sure to post up pics when it's done... I'm actually considering a rear seat delete since it wouldn't be safe for anyone to ride in the back as it is... I may build a wall and install some stereo equipment. Undecided on that right now... The few pics I've seen there is a little cutting of the plasti side pieces where the seat and sea back meet, but other than that there is no change to the rear seats... I'll post up pics when we get to that point, though it will be in early august before I get home....

Which means I'll be here for my tenth anniversary to my lovely wife.... Darn-it

We modified the seats to allow the cage to be part of the back seat on the SST. Just an option.

True in most cases - not the best place to ride, but when my kids go they will have their helmets on. Post up the pics when you take some.

My thoughts exactly (I dont want to cut on anything that will be exposed on the interior. I read up on that cage and it is removable so Im thinking you wont have to chop anything, wishfully thinkin maybe lol. Cant wait for pics, that cage should set that car off its gonna be sweet ( Speedster statis)!!!
