Different LED bulb types/ratings are going to modulate differently and theoretically have different interference potential, so I don't know that others using LEDs without problem is necessarily an indicator. Remember, I have some cheap Ebay LEDs. Seemed like the right move at the time, since they were a fraction of the cost of the LEDs we can get from some of the sponsors on here. But, alas, I might be paying for it now.

Since they are now removed, if I drive for a month or so with no returning TPMS warning, I'll try some of the name brand LEDs that you guys are using. If the warning comes back without the LEDs installed, I'll know the LEDs are not the cause, and I'm off to the dealer.

The OP seems pretty sure that it caused his too.
branded LED's are not necessarily interference free I believe,
unless it specifies that

remember everything will cause radio interference to some extent even some mobile phone chargers that mess up with the radio reception

just please avoid Canbus bulbs(ones with fake dummy load resistor to simulate higher load) unless it's needed to not show up errors on dashboard

that's all i'll stop posting here unless I get some updates or discovering any issue that may pop up

good luck and please keep us posted

Yea, understood about the interference, though there is a reasonable assumption that the branded LEDs specific for our vehicles are less likely to be a problem.

BTW, from what I can tell, the module that receives the TPMS signals doubles as the remote unlock sensor and is located in that black box beside the rear view mirror. I am not 100% sure that is accurate, but I think so . . .

thanks for your thoughts

it doesn't really matter,

tpms interference due to led's according to my google search appears to be wide issue on many cars with led's even some branded ones cause tpms interference

so unless it's specifically says it's interference-free don't risk you can ask the manufacture about it to make 100% sure

good luck

@Camarotobeornottobe

please update us about errors? They gone now?
remember you must drive for 30 or so minutes for them to come I guess, (not 100% sure)
I rarely drive my car longer than 20-25 mins

I replaced all my bulbs with LED's
Bought them all from Diode Dynamics
No issues
Then I replaced the radio with a Pioneer and Scosche
Now I get a TPMS misfire for Rear Passenger after about 100 miles

"I installed a radio at your shop now my tire light is on a week later! You messed up my tire sensor!"

I get stuff like that a lot. Weather is changing, cold weather will lower tire pressure. If it's not just a tire pressure issue, these sensors go out all the time, and I mean literally all of the time. About 1 out of every 5 cars equipped with them, and most of them 2008 up, come in with the light on and the customers usually don't even care. You know what's running those little sensors? Batteries. Batteries die.

There is such a thing as a coincidence

I replaced all my bulbs, including the corner markers with cheap Chinese LED bulbs the day I bought my car (12/13/2013). I had purchased the bulbs a few years before and had them on the car I traded in for my Camaro.

They're still on the Camaro now and haven't had any issues.
