For me, it's more a matter of what fits me better. I mean, that the 'Vette, to me, is more refined, and just has a different personality. It's like a boxer while a Camaro is to a street fighter - a brawler. Don't get me wrong, I think it's getting a lot more refined than it ever has, but the 'Vette is still the King, as it should be. I'm happy with the little brother that you still don't mess with - you know, the one with the bad attitude and isn't affraid to dance

Camaro just suites me better, at least the way I look at it.

Couldn't have said it any better.

I mean Corvettes have been around since the 50s so they haven't really been missed. I was 12 when the 35th Anniversary Camaro came out & I fell head over heels for the car. Its been nearly 10 years & I'm never been happier that the car is back. So yea I would definately get the new breed of the Camaro & be part of the revolution!

...jeez I hope that made sense lol

I have had a 04 Z06 first and last Vet, way too much road noice honestly you can not have a conversation, atleast the camaro rear seat will cut down on road noice, and still have the horsepower we all need.

The C6 is completely different compared to a 04 C5, especially the Z06. The Z06 was not built for comfort or for holding conversations. It was built to be loud and kick ass. I have a 2004 CE Coupe and it is pretty quiet. But the C6 are much more refined and quieter than previous generation C5's.

I don't mind driving a "muscle car" but driving a corvette bothers me for some weird reason.
You know, I have always felt the same way. THey are such beautiful cars, but maybe just TOO flashy? I guess growing up I saw so many middle aged guys driving them, and hearing women say "there is his midlife crisis" just rubs me the wrong way.

With that said, there is an ultra gorgeous 09 CGM Vette sitting in my dealers showroom...oh my....

Have you stopped by the Corvette Forum to check out the supporting vendor listings?? Consider $6K to 10K off MSRP for a start.

Good luck and happy hunting.

I sat in the back seat, it isn't that bad for a short trip, and I definately have sat in worse.

I love Corvettes, but IMO nothing beats the exterior styling of the new Camaro. Nothing.

I have also asked myself this question, I'm looking for a 2007 vette with low miles. Seems like they can be had for around 29K to 35K if you look hard. A really nice one at 29K would be very hard to not buy. I love the Camaro's but a 'Vette is in another class.
