Catch Can Question
I just added a catch can to my L99 and after about two half days of driving around town, this is how much oil I've already caught. Does this normal? Seems like a lot to me considering how little I've driven.

I'm catching about 3 - 4 oz per 1000 miles. Most say they catch less. Several say they catch more. I think it's a lot but am comforted that at least it's not going thru the intake. My car runs great so I roll with it.
It's understood that LS engines push blowby as much or more than other engines especially at higher rpms.

Hard to tell but thats not alot. I dont know in once's but in 2000 miles the bottom of a regular drinking cup is 1/4" full.If your revving it high all the time it will be more.

I doubt I drove more than 100 miles. I did just get my Catback so I may have revved it a little harder but it definitely wasn't "hard" driving.
