Do you have something in the door pocket? That's the only time I ever get a rattle.

when starting out after the car has been sitting a while, and especially cooler temps, I get some noise from the windshield/dash area. you'll notice more rattles the colder it gets too. My Volvo since it has gotten colder has all sorts of new rattles (got it in June).

If you're experiencing weird sounds, then visit the dealer. They should be able to detect it and fix it.

I thought I had the same problem a while back, but it was only the seat buckle hitting against the door, check that first before you take it to the dealer...

Also check to make sure the seat belt magnetic clip is cliped. Zac knocks it loose from time to time and it rattles.

I have a little noise coming from that area as well. Looks like I will have to take to dealer in the spring .

This may be a stupid idea but is there anything in the door panel that could come loose? Like a nut or bolt? That could be the problem but I have NOOOOO idea....

I thought I read about a similar problem and it ended up being a defective glove box door that did not fully latch. Probably worth checking.

here. now u guys are armed with this information, go see your dealer. Very likely, your service advisor will have no clue about these TSBs so it is your job to "help" him look them up. Good luck!
